Abandoned car - story so far
As you may have noticed a white SEAT has been parked on the premises since October last year, 7 months, not moved. It has been reported to the police and the Council. They have both informed us that the car is not registered to anyone living at Woodward Place. The notice of removal was issued by the Council and they were ready to remove it when the Management was informed that the car belongs to a "tenant" living at No.14, but is away "at the moment". This was nearly a month ago and to my knowledge no evidence was presented to the Management that this "tenants'" name/signature is on the lease and that he indeed has the right to park here. This is not an isolated case, but is certainly the longest running. Turning a blind eye to this kind of behaviour is making us a soft target for any "friend of a friend of a friend..." thinking it is a great idea to use Woodward Place as safe and free place to park, for unlimited time of course.

After 7 months, the owner of the car in question has turned up and taken it away. He apologised, but also confirmed that he is NOT a Woodward Place resident. I feel that lessons need to be learned from this.
